Some may already know this, but i haven't seen a post on it yet. Last week Kyle Ruschell won his wrestle off at 141 via a decisive 11-6 victory over Jordan Crass, a 3 time state champ from Wisconsin. Not sure exactly where, but you can view the match on the net, just google it or look on wisconsin's athletics website. This is big for Kentucky wrestling as I don't remember the last time a home-grown bluegrass boy has been a D-1 starter, let alone at a Big Ten school.

What about David Barnes another Nky boy? I believe he was DI All American
Pretty impressive. You can find it on the university website. Kyle really dominated the match. The points he gave up were on escapes and a 3rd period takedown after he basically shut it down. If he had stayed agressive the entire match he could have teched him. Kyle is living up the the hype he built up in high school.
