I apologize for the delay in posting Academy info. My hard drive crashed so it took me some time to recover! I also took the time to purchase new business software to improve organization and efficiency. New website is next!

We had a record breaking season last year! We have made several tweaks to the Academy to continue to improve and better server you and your wrestler. The Golden Cross Staff is very excited for this season!

This years Goals
Jr High:
The roster is shaping up to be the best team we have ever had. Last year we finished top 3 in every event we participated in. This year we are striving to win every event! (OAC does not keep Jr High team score)
Elementary:
Last year we took 3rd in the OAC State team race. This year we are going to work to put Southwest Ohio and the Golden Cross Academy on the top!!

Last season we had an overwhelming request for additional technique during each practice. This season we are going to provide a systematic approach to instilling technique into each practice. We will typically have 4-6 coaches on the mat to ensure personal attention. We will continue to have plenty of intensity and live wrestling.

The last several moths of last season, there were concerns that the room was way to crowded. At that time we had tons of drop in wrestlers coming in. That is the main reason we upped the per session price to $15. We want to be fair to our dedicated members and make sure they are getting the attention they need. Now drop ins can come for free the first session and decide if they want to pay per session or become a member.

Purchase gear online as wanted. No mandatory uniform.
There will be opportunities for ALL members to compete
Only members can wrestle off for dual team spots.
Non members can fill empty weights for duals and compete with us in open tournaments.
If you want to compete in any Cinn Youth Wrestling events you must be on our CYW roster.
You can only be on 1 CYW roster. You cannot compete with 2 CYW teams in one year.

Multiple sibling discounts:
Elementary (CYW Team)
1 wrestler $125 for season
Each additional wrestler $80 each for season

Elementary Gold/Jr. High
1 wrestler $80 month or $15 per session
2 wrestlers $70 month each or $25 per session
3+ wrestlers $60 a month each or $30 per session

High School
1 wrestler $25 month or $15 per session
2 wrestlers $40 month each or $25 per session
3+ wrestlers $60 a month each or $30 per session

Per Month Prorates:
Join at anytime and your monthly payments will be prorated accordingly

If you know you are going to attend the Academy, please go ahead and register. You have the option to pay later if you would like. OR use the monthly auto pay.

This will help make the first couple of weeks of registering the masses a little smoother for us.
