There have been a number of great events around the state early this season and we have already seen some amazing matchups.  As usual, I'm sure there are still some weight changes that will come out as the season progresses and a lot of wrestling to happen, but here is an early December update.

Well, it's that time of year again. Many kids have put in countless hours of hard work to get to this point. This weekend is where it all starts. The road to the State tournament. Some kids will realize their dreams, while others may fall short of their goals. If you realize your dreams, the next step will be keeping the motivation to train hard and succeed at the next level. To those who may fall short, will you simply give up, or use that hurt and pain as motivation to keep working and improving? If you are a wrestler, I am sure that I know the answer to that last question. Thank you to all the parents and coaches who continue to work and support the greatest sport on Earth. Best of luck to all the wrestlers who will be competing this post season. Stay safe, wrestle smart, and wrestle hard.

P.S. Ranger, do you and Dutch have any updates for the middle school rankings?

The updated MS rankings will be posted late tonight.  Also HS should follow soon.  There were a lot of HS tournament results this weekend that need to be reviewed prior to posting update.
