Tsunami Duals@ Meade Co.

Topic ID: 11426 | 6 Posts

Who all is going?

Dates?

Is this pooled then a dual tourny?

Any info would be appreciated.

Apollo,Central,Central Hardin, Meade,Larue,Corydon,Wayne Co.,Christian Co.,Iroquois,Desales and I may have forgotten one or two. Duals all day today and tomorrow(Monday and Tuesday). Action started just after 10 am today and included some excellent match ups in several weight classes.

I forgot Ft. Knox on the previous list. They only had 4 kids wrestling today, but those four are pretty good.

Thanks

Glad to be of help supernat. For those interested, Wayne Co. won the Tsunami duals with Meade Co. second and Christian Co. placing third. Christian Co. did not have a kid at 132,152,195,220 or 285 and still finished third. Obviously, the kids they do have wrestling are quite good. Meade had a nearly full stable and some real standouts in the middle weights. Wayne Co. surprised many teams with very few weaknesses and consistent effort both days.

The kid at 220 for Iroquois is a grown man in terms of body mass and strength. Cole Overman and Tristin Bird were dominate for Central Hardin, while Josh Farris and Aaron Chandler also performed nicely for the Bruins. Louisville Central had some impressive kids wrestling and Larue Co. looks to be stocked with young talent. The folks at Meade were good hosts and the kids benefitted from two days of quality competition.

I'm actually surprised Wayne beat Meade. I know you can never count out Coach Upchurch and his crew. Bob Davis might have done the best job in the state over the course of the last decade.
