Camps Closer to Home

Topic ID: 11656 | 15 Posts

I have seen some postings about some wrestling camps in Iowa, etc.  I'm wondering where I might find some good camps a little closer to home...like in KY. Does anyone know of camps that might be good for younger wrestlers? I know some boys who will be freshmen next year who are really interested in camps.

All the wrestling colleges in ky put on camps over the summer

Depending on where you are in the state, Union usually does one too

CWA always does camps as well. Can't argue with the Carr results!!

No-Ox host a couple of good camps during the Summer.

No-Ox host a couple of good camps during the Summer. Had union county, woodford county, Walton Verona, and a few Ohio kids down last year.

The Dennis Hall Camp put on at Campbell Co in the spring is an excellent drill camp.

The FCA camp is in Rome Ga with transportation out of Lexington . Rusty Parks is coordinator . It's in the beginning of the summer. I highly recommend it.

If you're in southern Kentucky All Results in Clarksville, Tennessee is a great camp

Former Union county coach and missouri wrestler Marcus Hoehn is opening a camp, I believe in St Louis not 100% sure. He is a great coach and has great technique. I learned so much from him. Think he has a website http://twamissouri.com/

He was also a big 12 champ in college and believe at one point ranked 3rd in the nation in college.

Beau, thank you for the kind words and for putting up this info. We are hosting several camps this year in St. Louis. Www.twamissouri.com/camps/ is where you can find all of our camp info. Always love working with the KY kids. I miss Kentucky quite regularly. Good luck to all the competitors in the next week as they make the last leg of their journey toward state championship glory!
