I know that Kenton County schools were off today because of snow. I believe they have to bus there kids to their away meets. I hope this will not affect regionals which I am almost certain it will not. Does anyone have any insight on this from previous years?

I think those snow policies change by district. In some, if you are out for a snow day, you cannot participate in any extracurricular activities.
It is that way in Jefferson County, but they have finessed it a couple times by saying it was technically changed to a teacher in-service day, not a snow day or something like that.
Walton was closed today as well.
RE: Kenton Co, the central office has to make a decision as to whether or not they will cancel evening activities. They've said yes in the past, and also said no....
In Kenton County, a snow day does not automatically cancel activities at the high school level (it does automatically cancel all practices and activities at the middle school level). The last snow day the district had there were practices held and basketball games played. Based on the amount of snow we got, I think there is a good chance the BOE will give the ok to participate (although one can never be sure). My fingers are crossed.
It also looks like Walton is closed today as well, so 4 of the twelve schools in this region are off today.
Kenton Co is a go for tonight.
