Dylan West was at the Region 2 tourney last night and today as a spectator. So unfortunate that he was not there as a competitor. He is such a great young man and I miss seeing him out on the mat. Could you imagine 138 if he were still wrestling this season, already a tough class but throw him in the mix and things would be a lot different. My 7th grader lost a tough match in the finals today and Dylan took the time to go up in the bleachers after his loss and give him some very kind words of praise and encouragement. This meant a lot to my son coming from a wrestler that he looked up to and admired. This young man is a class act and missed by the entire wrestling community.
