Being a Louisville guy I'm big on region 4, but gotta say top to bottom region 6 is a little stronger. There are more #1's in region 4, but 6 is deeper. I think if you look at points scored/kids placing 6 will probably come out on top.
region 6 had 7 in the finals (4) champs and 8 wrestling for 3rd. place. maybe someone else can put together a total region point total.
For 106 Region 7 was probably the toughest, had 3 of the 8 placers. The other qualifier, Deck from Madison Central, was knocked out by Miller of Henry Clay or perhaps all four would have placed.
Region 5 at least deserves to be in the discussion
I could see region 5 having the most champions (4 favorites) with as many as 9 in the finals.
With Meiman out. region 6 may only have 4-6 in finals with Cornett as only favorite

Looks like Meiman is back. He is listed @182 for Regionals.
