You are correct coach! I forgot about track. Thanks

What is the breakdown of teams with wrestling in correlation with football classes?

What is the breakdown of teams with wrestling in correlation with football classes?

Oh very good point. Not as many wrestling teams in the 1A-3A schools.

On the 2015-18 draft alignment. I just went through quick.

2a-6

3a-19

4a-17

5a-25

6a-27

Who are the three 1A schools coach?

Who are the three 1A schools coach?

Ft. Knox, Jenkins, and Phelps. Holy Cross would also be in there, but I don't believe they competed this year.

I also thought that University Heights was a single A school. They don't have football so they wouldn't have made it on the football alignment list. However I think they are a small k-12 private school correct?

Thought it would be more interesting to look at it compared to the big/small divi on we have from sections. I used our section duals basis of big school and small school.

The split is basically 50/50 big to small

Placers

Big 75 = 67%

Small 37= 33%

Finalists

Big 22= 79%

Small 6= 21%

Champions

Big 11=79%

Small 3= 21%

Another thing I looked at was that around 50% of teams in both big and small had atleast 1 placer. Looks like 23 small schools had a placer and 27 big schools.(that was a fast glance, could have missed someone)

Those Finalist and Champions numbers kinda jump out at you. Approximately an 80/20 split!

State Finalist Break Past 4 years 6A obviously carries the majority. 2A consistently puts 4-5 in the finals every year thanks to Union County. 3A-5A combine for about 5-8 per season.
