I am pretty sure Krebs is not wrestling.
HE IS NOT .Nice to see a thread about those still wrestling this yr in the bigger tournaments .I think Logan and Austin will both be at Flo as well .
Interested to see how Logan Erdman does!
113 IN THE JR 126 DIV ,a couple 2xers and 1 3xer from GA he should do extremely well I would guess FRANKRONE HAS 51 BUT HE IS THE ONLY 2XER IN HIS CLASS HE SHOULD DO VERY WELL.Austin has Brinson whom he lost to last yr in the Finals hopefully they meet there again with different results .Brinson is the only kid who can be a 4xer at NHSCAs this yr everyone loves a big story and a big win I think Austin is the only Man who can stop him I love the spoiler this year .
Looks like ATM and Brinson are on opposite sides of the bracket and would not meet until the finals. I wonder if Coach Henson will be there to see his stud recruit pull the upset!!!
Looks like ATM is the underdog has butterbrodt first.hope he ruins four for everyone
Are the brackets on track or elsewhere ?
On NHSCA site under events.

I expect a pin from ATM first match Heidorf pinned first match Frankrone Grazziani waiting .Ps don't come here thinking it's an easy off season tourney and don't cut you will get obliterated Although CC Barrett won wrestling up.
Thats what happens when u bump. Got what he deserved.
OH I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WEIGHT HE WENT ?? Gotta come with the A game here but he probably cut hard for state he's still the man at his weight what will he do next week at Florida and I'd he stayed up this week it could be the best thing he could have done if he's dropping next week two hard weeks against tough comp cutting sucks extra 2 lbs next week I think.
Almost game time Wth never thought I would travel this much Lexington Pa Virginia Beach and me and ATM are hitchhiking to pa next week ftw it's Sr yr so let's do this &hip Fargo cen reg , and wouldn't it be cool to do western reg in Vegas cmon Carr you and Austin go out there I'm tapped out lol.
HELLO Sr NHSCAs 15 sec pin for ATM first match .Cornett dominates with a major some of the last round action.Im pretty sure he gets another first per pin next round.
Should be under 45 sec
A lot tougher ahead

A GOOD TEAM OF Good Kids my boy wrestles with Hoping a bunch keep wrestling for freestyle Greco .Sparh and Erdman wrestling up at the wrong tournament .your get 3 lbs weigh in day before .No real reason to wrestle out of your state class .AUSTINS 4TH COMP SINCE STATE AND HE MADE WEIGHT 3 TIMES ALREADY SINCE THEN AND THE TIME HE DISH HE WASNT GOING TO COMPETE IN TILL THE NIGHT BEFORE
.THERE WILL BE SOME SERIOUS BATTLES TOMORROW AND A MUCH HYPED UP FINALS AT 220 WITH Austins opponent having a chance at being a 4 xer .We will see Austin is A wrestlers wrestler the hardest working one in this Nation .Hope he gets it done .
Hope all 3 Kentucky finalists end up being National Champions tomorrow. Good for them. Great for our state.

Where's Wildcat?
Hey whats up,
5 Ky AA's 1 fresh, 2 soph, 1 jr & 1 sr. 3 in the finals It seems Ky wrestling is doing just fine.
Yeah, I guess youre right. Looks like we will be competing with Ohio and Pa now on the regular. This was all the proof the country needed. Make sure to write into intermat and flo annoucing that ky has arrived. Congrats again.
Your sarcasm is annoying your basically slighting kids who bust their butt's to compete at a very high level. With that being said Kentucky wrestling has came a long way but has a long way to go but as a state our best can hang with the bestYeah, I guess youre right. Anyone know what time the finals start?
OH Flow knows Kentucky is in the House and so do you And the rest of the country .By the way nice pic of that curly haired blue eyed 4 X undefeated KY state champ on flo doing work again at NHSCA.
I AGREE ALL THE PROOF ANYONE NEEDED 3 finalists in three age classes .And a four X Finalist .

Im not Slighting anyone. The kids and adults are doing very well, but to say we are equals with the Oh, Pa and NJ or the world is crazy.
I would agree that we don't compare with those states when it comes to depth we simply don't have enough schools with the sport but we have had kids over the last few years and in the past and will in the future who can compete with the best in the country
Agreed

Cornett out wrestled that kid.
Best out of 3 and Cornett wins 2.
Tyler Frankrone, National champ wins 3~1 in OT!!
Congrats to Austin,
Austin win ?
I think so. It was 5-5 and I think he turned him for 3. 8-5. Didnt see the video, just the flo play by play
Awesome!
Congrats to Tyler and Austin! Way to go guys! Now keep the momentum going for Flo. Once again, awesome job!
2 champs. 3 finalists. 5 AAs. Not too bad. And I saw a bunch of other kids competing pretty well and winning matches.
And big props to coaches like Ethan Miller who traveled out on their own time and expense to support their wrestlers. Much easier for guys like me who actually have a kid competing.
I love it! we send 3 of our state champs to nationals and come away with 2 champions! Great job guys.
Wildcat no one likes u go crawl back under your rock .
AUSTIN OUT WORKS Brinson Out wrestles him and wins SR OW after a year of out working out wrestling out traveling everyone in his class in the Country .Austin Tyler Cornett and all the KY kids did work .Loved seeing Austin and Frankrone preparing together much thanks to all the CC faithful and to Austins old Coach Root for Stepping in in the Finals .Bankamper Bogs Yenter Sparh Wilders and all at CC did right by Austin always as he did them his state and his family .I think KY wrestling should boot those who are negative to my wrestling .
AND YEAH WE TRAIN AND RUN WITH THE BEST YOUR EITHER WITH US OR AGAINST USB AND YOU DON'T WANT TO BE AGAINST US WR NEVER RUN WE NEVER BACK DOWN We ALWAYS ATTACK .
LOL Roth and Moore from WV there supporting the Woodford guys Castellano from Sk all helping and cheering it was the best and most stressful weekend ever .
And ATM and SAM and everyone else from KY all worked together wonderfully it was Storybook Austin and Tyler wanted Cornett to win in the worst way and he came so close but 3 finalists is awesome .And Austin had the tough side he had to earn it against two kids who have been nationally ranked for yrs.
GETTING READY FOR COLLEGE CHECK THAT RIDING TIME WHOOOOO
FRANKRONE DID WORK WITH MOSTLY ONE ARM IN USE awesome stuff he will be launched high into the rankings .
BEST COACH /Corner Man in Kentucky History Stephen Myers leaves Frankones corner as he wins finals then runs to Austins to help coach him 2 for 2 at NHSCA nationals .LOL true story , A fun day for him after a long time still recovering .
NOT GOING TO CLAIM THEY WON BECAUSE OF HIM LOL JUST SAYING It WAS COOl although Austin could not have won without him .KY TAKING CARE OF KY TEAM KY IN THE HOUSE Haha got some Cool pics/video of Tyler and Austin after their wins posing for Cliff Keen.
THE FLO GUYS ARE SHOWING LOVE TO THE Bluegrass state and ATM .Awesome .
best served GOLD!
And that is exactly how things went for West Virginia bound big man Austin Myers who defeated Kenny Brinson 8-5 to take home his third NHSCA National title. It was just a season ago that Myers was defeated by Brinson to win his third title and that was all that Myers had on his mind when he and Brinson met for the second straight year in the finals.
The deciding factor for the Myers were the three backpoints he picked up to take the lead before riding out Brinson and killing his chances of joining the NHSCA four-timers club.
After the action packed match, Myers went to say that revenge was definitely on his mind.
“He took my chance for four titles, so I had to take his,” Myers said after the match.
En route to his third title, Myers recorded three straight pins – all in less than 40 seconds – before a pair of decisions in the semis and finals. His great performance, which was highlighted by his win over Brinson in the final, makes Austin Myers the FloWrestler of the Week presented by Cliff Keen.
Just watched Austin's match on Flo. Brinson is one tough guy. Has heavy hands and one heck of a nice sweep single. Austin comes back tough though. Gets his first takedown by relentless attacking and then almost hits a sweet inside leg trip. The 3rd period was all Austin. Lots of top pressure keeping Brinson on his hands. Nice use of his (Austin's) right leg too. He kept bumping Brinson at the elbow to stay in control. When Brinson musters up the energy to stand up, he gets rewarded with an explosive crotch lift and a nice resting place on his back to start counting the lights. Outstanding ride out in the period. In college, that would have been a 9-3 match due to riding time. Great match with lots of excitement. Great job Austin. Best of luck at Flo, Fargo, and West Virginia!
ATM went pure beast mode on Brinson. West Virginia coaches have to love that performance.
FLO FRONT PAGE TOP NOW Mountaineer Muscled Lol Awesome stuff .Story book for sure and Brinson is a beast on his feet with lightning fast shots .But as I said before He's a great Athlete Austins a great all around wrestler and it takes all aspects .Very proud of Austin match was almost the same as last yr going into 3rd same score same scenario different outcome .AUSTIN HAD THE TOUGHEST ROUTE THROUGH Butterbrodt who is no slouch either .He wrestled smart all week turned it on when he could and should and studied his opponents .
Can anyone post the link to Frankrone's finals match I can't find it
It's on flo under the 182s nhscas
THEY GOT HIS NAME WRONG smh lol about the only complaint I could have some pretty great coverage of the Ky boys
Gotta have FloPro
Also,The dirty takedown of the week is ridiculous.
This kid also hit it in the state semi finals against the defending champ. Look at the comments and there is a link
That big boy can move any time a heavyweight hits a super duck its impressive lol
Captain America congrats on Austin's victory ! Well deserved!
Austin is a great wrestler good for him. Congrats he represents well. That brinson is an athlete it depresses me to think how great he is at wrestling and to think he's up there with a wrestler like Austin and it isn't even his favorite or best sport and he has a 33 on his ACT what a kid. Great win for Austin I was just impressed with the other kids stats excluding wrestling
PERSONALLY I DIDN'T GIVE TWO SQUIRTS ABOUT HIS ACT HIS HAMMER THROW HIS FORTY SPEED OR ANYTHING ELSE BUT WRESTLING BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT WE WERE THERE FOR .AUSTIN HAS GOOD GRADES WAS AND IS A GOOD FOOTBALL PLAYER AND IS A GOOD KID WHO DESERVED THE WIN WORKED FOR IT OUT WRESTLED EVERYONE IN HIS CLASS ALL YEAR AND WON .ANYONE WHO CAN KEEP A TOP RANKED KID ON THE MAT FOR A WHOLE PERIOD IS A BEAST .NO ONE HAS EVER DONE THAT TO AUSTIN AND THAT'S What matters to me lol and his college coaches obviously Austin has college on his mind as those aspects of his game have obviously improved .Brinson is an impressive athlete .Austin set a 265 lb stone the first day he ever tried he pulls 645 and I know linemen going to D1 schools he would pancake .doesn't mean crap to me or anyone else on this WRESTLING thread .
33 on his act but he didn't score enough in the third this year and wasn't working on his escapes as much as he should have .
Austin getting close to benching 4 and pulling 6 and a half training hard in the gym every day and hitting open mats and tourneys every chance he gets even stayed in St Louis late to catch a Ben Askren Marcus Hoehn camp with mostly youth kids because he knows every little thing counts .
GLAD YOUR IMPRESSED BY BRINSON
I hear that old wide world of sports theme in my mind like all of us old timers used to hear and watch every weekend .Flo front page right now http://www.flowrestling.org/articles/30687
I'm liking that red white and Blue and Sammy Henson Dom Bradley Danny Felix Nick Mirabel and a Strength and conditioning coach with Austins passion and what he needs to develop and grow into a Great Wrestler being in his future .
Woah you took that wrong. Austin is the better wrestler and is more dedicated and works harder at wrestling. Very glad to see him get a well deserved win. Hope he goes show flo he deserves the 1 spot. Now I was just saying that this kid is near Austin and he plays two other sports one he's an Olympian in and the other a division 1 football and wrestling his third while obtaining a 4.1 gPA and a 33 ACT I guess he's going for football cause let's face it there's prolly more money with it and a professional league and more hype towards football than wrestling sadly. I was just admiring the stats and saying I was depressed to think we try so hard to achieve just this much in wrestling this kid does it in three sports. if they wrestle again Austin will again win because his work ethic and training don't twist it up my words I'm one of the actual people that root for Austin not try and bring him down I mean heck brinson was gassed Austin broke him cause he was better conditioned
A YOUTH OLYMPIAN .PROLLY A BIG DIFFERENCE .LIKE I SAID BEFORE I think Austin could play some D1 ball but D1 ball players are dime a Dozen Brinson was ranked 12 overall on intemat for wrestling I doubt he's ranked that high for football .A great athlete who like others did not hit all the tournaments he could particularly Fargo .Their styles some of the taller Stallers don't go well with Olympic wrestling they call you for it .
A GREAT ATHLETE GLAD HE'S SMART Austin is an academic AA My other son had a 4.4 at a private school those buffed up grades have little to do with wrestling .

Any chance in the world Austin takes a shot at WVU football?
I would be willing to bet he would make the roster if he tried to walk onAny chance in the world Austin takes a shot at WVU football?
HAD THAT DISCUSSION WITH WVs former wrestling coach and his negativity turned us away .Doubt Henson would want him trying to play and Austin is a linebacker and RB /FB hard to say how he would maneuver or make the change because I'm sure WV wants him to gain about 30 lbs over the next yr or so .Austin is very strong and quick and played a lot of Defensive line as a kid it would be hard to say It will also be hard for him to be there and not think about it as well he played every yr since kindergarten till this yr he wanted the 32 and to focus on wrestling .I think it payed off.Winning SRs is a dream come true for him Beating Brinson was in the back of his mind I know and he never broke he was behind at first tied it up and poured it on it was awesome .Still annoys me how they let guys constantly back away from him though.
I wouldn't put it past Austin to try and make the team .who knows he's insane but I think he will be looking at freestyle greco perhaps more than any other WV guys considering he has done well already at it and the WV coaches are BIG TIME I to Olympic style wrestling Henson is an Olympic silver medalist and Mirabel a world team member and Bradley a fila Jr champ in the past .
I COULD SEE Brinson doing both at Army but I'm not sure he would transition to hvy and remain proficient at his position in football or be as effective at heavy .Austin is a thick person who loves to lift he will put on some muscle no problem .Doubt he gets any taller but he will get stronger and bigger and hopefully faster .it's all good Austin at 197 would probably stun some people on the football field .
We'll in football he's going to West Point and playing for army so he's not like hes a football prototype going to Lsu or Alabama to play football now that would be amazing playing in front of thousands of people. but what I was just saying is I wish people like this would focus on only one sport instead of not three like Austin quit football to focus on wrestling and look at his success I think all we can agree my point is it's better to do one and succeed and a little success at three
Not taking anything from Brinson like it seems I simply know Austin deserved and was a better all around wrestler .I told my friends Brinson was like a modern day Jim Thorpe .I heard that Brinson trained at ASU with the kids training with the world team last yr and I knew he was doing wrestling work as well and I watched him this yr his shots were actually better and he moved and put in moves much quicker and had a better arsenal on top but Austin is not a kid you can work moves on very easily on top No one ever has he has never gave up back or been turned for even 2 .Brinson would have been better served hitting more weights but I'm not sure he could make 220 with more muscle he pretty tall and has some beef already
Well I guess we will just have to sit back and see what Austin and his coaches decide is right for him. Would be awesome and great exposure to play Big 12 football though!

I could not disagree more.
I don't know if we've ever done a dream team but I think that Austin might just be the starting 220! Lol
