Seymour Wrestling Club will be hosting duals on the following dates.  The Fall Classic and Winter Rumble are no longer accepting team entries.  Let me know if you are interested in attending the Seymour Wrestling Club Dual Championships.  There will be at least 4-5 teams at each meet.

Awards:  Team plaques for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.  Medals for undefeated wrestlers.

Team cost: $100

Spectator admission: $4

Doors open at 8:00am

Weigh-ins by team from 8:30-9am

Wrestling will start directly after weigh-ins

Winter Rumble Championship Duals- December 5th: 1. Seymour, 2. Union County (KY), 3. Shamrock Wrestling Club, 4. Columbus East, 5. Beech Grove (No spots available)

Seymour Wrestling Club Championship Duals- December 13th: 1. Seymour, 2. Madison, 3. Edgewood 4. ??? 5. ??? (2 spots left)

Grades K-6th, 1 lb. weight allowance, concessions available, coolers allowed, Scoreboards, Wrestling Officials

Weight Classes: 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 105, 115, 130, 155, Hwt. (175 max)

Bump!

Need some teams for December 13th dual meet.

We now only have two spots open for the December 13th duals.  Would love to get a couple Kentucky teams in the mix!

We had a great time at the Winter Rumble Elementary Duals Championship.  Kentucky was represented very well.  Here are the results:

Union County KY 1st place

Seymour 2nd Place

Columbus East 3rd Place

Beechgrove 4th place

Shamrock 5th place

Union County KY beat Seymour 43-33 in the championship round.  Shamrock had ten wrestlers so they gave up 42 points in forfeits every match.  But their 10 wrestlers were well trained and wrestled hard.  It was a great time for all I believe!
