This is the first pass at middle school rankings for the upcoming season. Yes, they are a train wreck. Some weights are pretty solid, but so many of these kids have been off the mat for months and tend to grow in a completely unknown way at this age. PLUS, I'm sure some of these kids were 8th graders last year and need to come off the list. I received some good input from a few guys, but I'm sure there are a bunch of kids who will be added shortly into the season. Please send me corrections (especially for kids now in HS) on weights; I made some guesses on kids I had some gut feelings on, but others I left alone. This one is just to get the conversation going.

Only been posted an hr and I already found an error. When I moved a couple kids around in weight I misplaced Duke below Insko (Duke won head to head at state). I'm sure those guys will be riding me through texts for the next month. Just kidding.
Those points also push Ryle up a spot in the team rankings.
Allen Anderson and Marcos Cardenas from Moore are freshmen this year, wish I was getting them for middle school haha.
Unsure about the other Moore guys right now, I'll know more once my roster is set
If I had any doubt I left them in and figured someone would let us know to remove them.
Wow, some of these kids have made huge jumps in weight!
It will be interesting to see if North Hardin mats a middle school club now that Coach Dee has returned to Christian County.....
Landon Lenhart will likely be 98
Not another Belk. Lol. Following in his brothers foot steps. But much more of a technician.

Looks like the Raiders will make some noise this year. With only 3 or 4 eighth graders the future is bright.
JR (jack Calvery) will most likely wrestle 98 not 86. Thanks for putting it together.
While we appreciate the love, Ethan Wells at 92 wrestles for UHA now, & Antonio Abren and Jacobie Penmen are both 9th graders this year.
Thanks for all of the updates guys. Keep them coming. We will post updates relatively soon as we should see a lot of changes in a short time with this list.
John Gaudin (130) is a 9th grader.
Lucas Colemire and Michael Dodge Ryle will most likely be 86 this year.
Kids that will make some noise this year.
70 Noah Berkheart Ryle
70 Colin Ross Ryle
70 Lauren Walton Carr
105 Carter Messerly Braves
121 Brandon Gibson Braves
152 Dillon Talmon Ryle State Qualifier has a win over Mayer last year at State Duals.
152/68 Aiden Evans Ryle hurt during football last year did not compete.

Colin Stevens from Trigg who placed 6th at 130 last year is a 8th grader this year
For some reason I thought all the 130 state placers were 8th graders last year.
Tyler Hudgins will probably wrestle 105lb this year.
Brent Hudgins is a freshman this year. Probably should be in high school top 25 at 106lbs. Two time high school state qualifier as a 7th and 8th grader.
I'm in 9th grade now, so is Cedric Dixon and Myles Harris
Jack Cummings (92 lbs - Shamrock) will be wrestling 98 lbs this season. Thanks.
Braedon and Devon Herron along with Jaysen Hanson will be wrestling for River City for youth and MS this year.
No ''Browns'' from Union County this year? Good kids not to be on the list somewhere.

They have moved to Ohio last I heard and will be making their mark there.

All the EOMS kids are freshman now except Deckard.
David Satterly is a freshmen now. And Gabe Jacobs moved to Florida
Ranger123, I thought most of the 130 group are now in HS. Do you have an updated list?
The 3 boys from Oldham County are all 9th graders this year. Tyler 113, Damien 121, and Caleb 152
Not sure if Brutuscher is still in middle school or not but I was informed he switched schools. Jalen is still wrestling for Moore, unsure what weight he is going at the moment since he tells me one thing then weighs another
Ryle is young. A lot of 6th graders making lineup. Future is bright, if we can separate our kids.
Jack Cummings (92 lbs - Shamrock) will be wrestling 98 lbs this season. Thanks.
Jack is a heck of a kid. He has given my son all he wants the last 3 years. I am glad my jack has gained weight.
Johnson County should have a pretty good team again this year. Blue will probably be 92 to start the season but will be 86 by districts.

I wish my Jack had one more shot at your Jack, but three is probably enough. My Jack just placed third at 98 at the Veterans Tournament at John Hardin today. Beat Conrad from Twenhoffel (and Conrad had beaten Dahl from Hardin). Jack got taken out by some kid named Diesel Duncan out of Indianapolis(?) in the second round, and I think that kid went on to win the bracket.
When is your Jack's first meet?

Tomorrow at summit view. Thank goodness my jack has gained weight. Your son is a class act. I wish the best for him this year. It was only a 1.5 second match last year. Way too close. Hell he looked at me and I said now or never. Credit to your boy, he could of backed up and circled. Even if you asked me. good luck.
What weight is he? 98?
Graham Lyll in 190 is a freshmen and Logan Deasel is in 8th wrestling for McCracken. Weight 190
