I would love to see more head to head matchups, but I know they are coming. NKAC next Tuesday will help to sort these out. I know several kids will be on the move once the weight allowance kicks in. But, in trying to keep the rankings straight, I figured it would be better to rank the wrestlers where they are wrestling now, not trying to guess who is going where, that will sort out on its own. Once again please let me know if you have updates or corrections for me.

FYI.....folks, I will hold off the ranking until 12-23 or 12-24 to get the weekend results in as well as NKAC results for 12-22.

I think the 100,000 dollar question in region 6 is what weight is Johnny Mieman going to wrestle.  People have speculated from 160 to 195.  

Can he make 160?

Will he go 170 with Casey Cornett?

Will he attempt to defeat Frankrone at 182?

Will he just stay big and go 195?

I would love to see a Mieman Vs Cornett matchup. It would be even better if happens at NKAC.......but I'm not holding my breath. That one match alone would be worth the $$$ of admission. I loved how in years past NKAC was the time most wrestlers would make the shift down to the lower weight class with the weight allowance. This year it will be a little different since we are having it before the break.

Brossart and pye just wrestled this weekend at the rumble and brossart pinned him in the first period 

Also i would love to see that badida and bailey match should be great

I am looking forward to seeing Brossart wrestle at the NKAC. I have heard that he put in a ton of time this off-season. He is huge for a 106. Should be a great year for him, I expect to see him on the podium at state. Badida & Bailey will be a good one as well. Sure wish WV was at NKAC, but I guess we will have to wait until Regionals.
