The Kentucky Wrestling Officials Association (KWOA) will again be hosting the 5th Annual KWOA Spring Classic on Saturday March 5, 2016 at Central Hardin High School (2 weeks after the KHSAA State Tournament.  We were unable to host the event in 2015 due to the issues with the weather.  We are looking forward to another great tournament and are hoping to build this event into the premier off-season folkstyle tournament in Kentucky.  

We will also be hosting a women's tournament again this year and are looking forward to this as well.

Registration is under way for the 2016 KWOA Spring Classic on March 5 at Central Hardin.  Please take advantage of this date as this is the first step for preparing for the 2016-2017 season.  I have been contacted by out of state clubs wanting to bring kids to this event.  We were unable to host this event in 2015 due to the weather & postponement of the KHSAA State Tournament.

We are looking forward to a great turnout in 2016.  If any clubs are interested in hosting a remote site, please contact me so that we can get your site & location set up.

Please remember to make sure you all wrestlers are pre-registered in Trackwrestling by 03/04 at 8:00 p.m.  Also, please make sure each wrestler has an entry form filled out & brings it when they come & check in on Saturday morning, 03/05.

Also, please make sure all wrestlers at on-site at least 1 hour prior to the start of wrestling for their respective age division.

Just a couple of things regarding the KWOA Spring Classic:

1. Please make sure all wrestlers are pre-registered in Trackwrestling by 8:00 p.m. tonight.  Even if you weighed-in at a remote weigh-in site, you still must register to participate in the tournament in Trackwrestling.

2. All wrestlers participating in the Womens Tournament must only pay 1 entry fee and will be entered into both tournaments to ensure they get a good number of matches.

3. Some weight classes will be combined to get wrestlers to the most number of matches

4. Wrestlers cannot move up age divisions.  USA Wrestling does not allow this.
