For Immediate Release:
Wanted to make everyone aware of the new KHSAA Sports Safety Module Changes that just took place. Instead of the old way of doing a module and printing it off after each module, you now have to register your email and complete the sections in the time frame allotted. At the end, you will get a completion certificate, that certificate is what you will submit for your completion to get your KSWA Coaches Card.
At this time, those of you that took the KHSAA Sports Safety Module last year, those will still be good for the 2016-2017 KSWA Season.
Notes from KHSAA:
Use this option if you are a Middle School coach. Upon completion of all 8 modules, you will be emailed a completion certificate to show proof to your administrator. The user has a two hour window to complete each individual module (or they will have to start over from the beginning on that module). The user has a 30 day time limit to complete all 8 modules (or they will have to start back at module one).
Note: Effective June 1, 2016, this procedure for a Middle School coach replaces all previous procedures that a Middle School coach may have been instructed to use to take the Sports Safety Course - specifically the "Don't take for Credit" procedure in which a coach was instructed to print out a completion screen at the end of each of the 8 modules.
