Wayne County Mat Cards finish third at Seymour

The Wayne County Wrestling team traveled to Seymour, Tenn. on Saturday,

December 9, to compete in the Eagle Duals. The tournament featured 10 teams

at Seymour High School.

The tournament was run in a dual meet format, with two pools of five

teams in your pool. The winning teams out of each pool wrestled for first

and second place teams for third place.

The Mat Cardinals finished second in their pool with a loss to Seymour

High School in pool competition. The team then took third place with a win

over Sevierville.

The following is a list of the top four teams in the tournament.
