If I'm not mistaken Fredrick Douglas High School, will they have a wrestling team? What region will they fall in?

They will be with the rest of lexington I assume. That will put region 7 at 15 teams

If Lexington Christian returns, which it should, we will be at 16

The way I understand is that this school will pull from Henry clay and Bryan station

I've spoken to the new principal, I've known him for awhile through my wife's family, yes they will have a program.  Not sure who the coach will be but knowing him, he'll probably wait until after the season's over to make a hire, or announce it, in an effort to not cause a distraction from wherever the coach comes from, assuming he would be an asst or head coach somewhere already.  He's a high-character guy who I think will really support the program.  The school is situated between HC and BS so yes I imagine it will pull from those two mostly.  I assume they'll be in Region 7 with the rest of the Lexington schools.

Something that baffles me: Why is McCreary Central in Region 7?

They are a geographical oddity, I guess.

They are close to 75, so guess they figure it's easiest for them to shoot strait up to lex
