For those who are not familiar with the tournament, What teams will be there? I love wrestling, but have just returned to the state after a many years absence. I'm assuming Northern Kentucky teams?
Boone County, Campbell County, Conner, Cooper, Dixie Heights, Holmes, Newport, Ryle, Scott, Simon Kenton. It is all the Northern Kentucky teams less Walton.
Why is Walton Verona excluded? Not stirring the pot, I seriously don't know. Seems like they would make a very good tournament that much better.
My understanding is that while they are in our region, they are not part of the Conference. I may be wrong, if so, please correct me.
It will make regionals a bit more exciting no need to have everyone from one area meet over and over .
Is the conference just a wrestling thing or across all sports? It sounds like the city tournament Fayette County requires the programs to have.
IMO 152 looks the tightest. You have Cody Huston way out front followed by everyone else. Some of the key wrestlers pulled off Rangers list.
