Anyone know if the tournament will have a live feed?  

I don't see anything on KHSAA website and I highly doubt Flo would be doing anything. I know they've put out videos of the finals in the past but I don't recall live streaming. Would love if they had it though. 

If someone could livestream Scheffer v Johnson that would be fantastic!

I don't remember cell coverage at the horse park, but if possible - would be great!

Nah.  

I didn't think so. Our AD streams some matches. Trying to get him or Carson(ukpride) to do it. 

He was told that the KHSAA won't allow it. 

If a parent wants to stream there kids match on a personal account i don't think thete is anything that stops them..

So. Rule 10-1-2 in the NFHSA book states that "Video recording is authorized unless prohibited by the state high school association". There is no explicit rule about 'streaming' but I'd imagine they are applying that there as well. They have allowed it all year to my knowledge, would be weird to not at the big stage but if they say no then the actual answer is no, it's not allowed. 

It looks like there isn't even a dashboard on trackwrestling to follow the matches...what the heck?? Nothing. No video, no bout board. 

screw the KHSAA that's dumb,.  I'll see if I can get someone to stream it on periscope.  I think cell signal will be the biggest issue.

 They want us all to skip work and fork out $30.

I want to thank you for doing this. I usually am able to go down for state but couldn't this year. I actually asked KHSAA if they were going to do a live broadcast and they said no, only highlights afterwards.

Was glad to help you all out. Maybe the KHSAA will learn from Indiana and actually show live coverage next year. Could catch their state tournament on local TV. 

During the coaches conference call with the KHSAA on Thursday, it was stated that live streaming is, indeed, Illegal. 

So, does that mean there will be no live streaming of the Sweet 16 this year?

A ton of people streamed it if khsaa doesnt like it they should bring their own stream back but i simply do not think people are going to stop live streaming it off there phones through periscope and FB live and good luck to them on trying to police it..

There would be a Title IX case if they provided live stream for other sports and did not for wrestling championships.  

I don't know if there will be other streamed events. I don't know how it would be policed. I don't know the legality of Title IX. All I know is Tackett said it was illegal to do it- so I passed that info along. 

How can KHSAA make any money if it is streamed for free by wrestling fans? Good for everyone that did a live Stream for those that couldn't make it down or worse yet those that could not afford the $30 2 day pass and $10 worth of parking. Fight the system anyway you can!!!

I have literally watched UFC pay-per-view on Periscope. Like someone stated, good luck policing that. LOL
