I believe that this one goes to the public schools my friend, Woodford and LaRue. May be one of the best high school rivalries in the state for a sport with a little less fan following than the big two of basketball and football. Just remember last year at state duals when everyone was crowded around the mat for the final between these two and the intensity so thick you could cut it with a knife. Speaking of state duals, it ought to be inetresting this year with Larue, Woodford, Trinity and Fern Creek mixing it up and then throw in Union (if they show), Wayne, Sheldon Clark and North Hardin. Should be one of the best state duals ever (IMHO) with some temendous individual matchups. State duals this year may have the edge over the State Finals in entertainment value. I wish the KHSAA would go on and sanction this as the true "team" title.
i agree with woodford and larue... any time these two teams wrestle you know its gonna be exciting and intense... watching the glow sticks flying at the state finals is always interesting too...
