Horsepower Results...

What were some of the results. School match-ups with the team scores. Upsets. Those kinds of things. I didn't really have enough energy to watch all of the matches. I was catching some sleep.

well i cant be under weight till monday so i had to wrestle JV so all my matchs didnt count but i won all of then i pinned southern in seconed period my coach didnt want me to wrestle our hwt incase one of us go hurt i techpinned prps Jv hwt 16-1 i pinned manuals hwt in the 1st period and i pinned prps varsity hwt also in the frist period but manuals hwt go all tounament. ben edwards won all of his matchs but did not get all touament witch i thought was alot of crap. joe religh got all tounament the only one from valley

Who got all tourny at 140 then? Maybe he just had more dominate victories or somethin'.

Justin Johnston from Moore got all tourney at 140.  I believe he went 5-0 for the day with one victory at 145.

oOoOo. I thought that Moore bumped all their guys up for the tourny. And what would have given him the edge over Edwards for all tournament? Was it just the more dominate performance. I didn't really see any of their matches.

Yea I think they did a couple times, but not all the guys.  It's just dependent on who the coaches pick and if they turned the sheets in.  I believe there were only 7 coaches that turned them in and only 3 or 4 of them had picked someone in every weight class.

Wow. Looks like there was no tiebreaker with the Moore southern match this time. that stinks. i really wanted to see them argue again. i saw the match saturday, i think moore lost once. they stuck almost everyone in the first period. it was total domination.

I am by no means making excuses for Southern - but they were missing their starters at 119, 140, and 152.  Also their 135 was hurt in the previous match but wrestled anyway-he had won the previous match with Moore.  So while Southern should certainly   have made a better showing it was not an equal comparison to the last meeting of the two teams.  It would be interesting to see them head to head again - but I do not think that is scheduled.

But also last time Moore and Southern faced each other Moore wrestled everyone up a weight class, and had 3 first year wrestlers filling varsity spots.  At Horsepower everyone wrestled in their own weight classes and Moore just accepted the 18 points that they would be forfeiting.  And Moore still won regardless of the forfeits.

The only match it would have made a difference at is the 119 because Moore's 119 was hurt too last weekend and was real sore Saturday by the time his match came up but fought through it all day.  the 140 would have probably got beat by Johnston anyway and the 152 for Moore already won....Good match though.

Correction, I meant the 152 for Southern I believe beat Moore's, so that wouldn't have changed.

I am not sure I follow your logic - but all in all Moore made a great showing on Saturday and I would not try and take anything away from that - it is obvious Southern did not wrestle to their max capabilitites

we didnt have are 119 140 152 and are 130 \(me) was hurt are 135 was hurt are 145 was sick  so i mean yes moore did beat us and they beat us bad but we are not all there too so
