Wow!!!  If you know a high school wrestler that will be wrestling at the next level celebrate them.  They are a rare breed indeed.

Why doesn't this list women wrestling?  There are an increasing number of collegiate programs, as well as states with all girl state tournaments.  Where are they?

The link below totals them all including NAIA, NJCAA and the like.  Since many of our local (Kentucky) colleges are NAIA.  

Very proud that many of our boys earn this opportunity. It's a different world in the college ranks as mine will attest.

This graph reflects scholarship athletes at the NCAA DI, DII and DIII levels.  As noted in the link provided by Mr. Granby ( thank you sir) woman are not awarded scholarships at this level. 

One take away everyone should pick up on with these stats.  If your desire is to wrestle at the next level, hitting the books and keeping that GPA up should be right up there with your training!!!!!
