I would like to invite all Kentucky wrestling clubs to the Diesel City Folkstyle Championships on February 11th, 2018! Columbus, Indiana is home to the world famous Cummins diesel engine. Come see if your wrestlers have their motor ready to win this tournament. This is an individual Folkstyle tournament sanctioned by USA Wrestling and open to Peewee-Junior ages. There will be wrestlers from all over Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Tennessee, and hopefully Kentucky. The champion of each weight class will earn the Diesel City Folkstyle Champion fight shorts pictured below! We will also have medals for 2nd-6th place. Along with the individual tournament we will be keeping track of team points accumulated throughout the tournament. There will be four team divisions: Large 15+, Medium 8-14, Small 1-7, and All-Star/Academy division (wrestlers from different clubs and/or states wrestling under the same team name). There will be Team Champion and Team Runner-up plaques for each division. 8 teams will walk away with some hardware to hang in the wrestling room!
