Congrats to all the new middle school state champs and state placers.  Also congrats to McCraken on their team title.  Must admit that I'm really looking forward to the growing rivalry between McCraken and Ryle.  Both have done a great job developing their youth programs and they obviously have buy-in from both the wrestlers and their parents.  Great job!!!!

Also, kudos to Kolby Koepp for being a bracket buster.  He was the lowest ranked (#6) state champ.  He beat #5,#2 and #1 on his way to the 130lb title.  

Yes, congrats to all!  Great day of wrestling. McCracken brought it today. Those coaches had their boys ready to take care of business. 

And for the record, I'm still trying to figure out that twilight zone time warp Tyler used today. Semis at 12:30?  Finals 4:00?  Can't complain about the long day at MS state. That was pretty amazing. And the live stream is an awesome addition.

Koepp had a great tournament. Certainly had the upset of the tournament over Fletcher. McCracken should change their names to the McCradle’s!  Their cradles were given the rest of KY fits all day. Congrats to their team!

Congrats to Ryle and their staff. Not easy winning State Duals and a team State Title w/ a few missing peices, including last year’s MOW. 1st year wrestlers did great, including a 3rd at HWT. Nicely done!

Shout out to Olivia Messerly (Ryle). Had a good day of wrestling despite vomiting between matches and having to manage her type 1 diabetes.  She is a little stud. Placed 3rd at 86lbs.

Thanks buddy Blue appreciates that. Blue meet every challenge this year from all challengers in and out of state even the eventually 140lb state champion except that one. You know that’s what is great about wrestling. You can be beating the brakes off a kid then all it takes is one mistake and your perfect season is over. But props to Koepp and all the MS state champions this year. 

Congrats to all. Great tournament to watch. The twins put on a great show and McCracken had a non ranked kid beat the number one seed to make the podium in Hunter Jenkins. Congrats McCracken. 

Congrats to Troy Gardner and Jai Highley of Ashland MS. Troy finished 3rd in 72 lb class and Jai finished 3rd in 142 lb class.   This was Jai's first year wrestling.
