Columbus North is offering a second wrestling camp on July 9th and 10th in Columbus, IN.  This camp will feature Angel Escobedo, Brandon Wright, Drew Hughes, and Mason Parris.  The focus of this camp is to develop a relentless offense mindset in wrestlers and to teach them solid technique that will put points on the board.

Did you know that there are 11 state championships, 5 college All-American, 3 college national championships, and a top 5 world finish with these 4 individuals?  3 out of the 4 wrestlers at this camp are still competing.  1 of the 4 is a Division 1 Big10 head coach.

This camp is going to break down some of the finer points of offense that have gotten each of these wrestlers to where they are today.  This camp is going to give much personal attention to the 36 wrestlers that attend.  Registration will close when it reaches 36.  Coach Escobedo and Coach Wright are looking forward to building relationships with wrestlers in the area to build the IU program.  This is a great opportunity to meet them at the ground level of the rebuilding of this Big10 program!

This camp, like our Scoring Machine Wrestling Camp, will be capped at 36 wrestlers.  That worked out great for getting personal attention from the counselor/clinician.  At the moment this camp is about halfway full.  This camp will focus on several areas of offense.  Drew Hughes will spend two sessions on how to dominate with riding the legs.  Angel Escobedo will spend a two hour session breaking down the front headlock position.  Brandon Wright will spend one session on moving your opponent to create opportunities for shooting from space.  He will use another session to show his breakdown, tilting, and pinning strategies.  Mason Parris will cap the camp off by showing shots and takedowns from different ties.
