Looking at trackwrestling, here are some early numbers.
101 girls on rosters
74- weight assessed
27- not assessed yet
37 teams total with a girl on the roster
27 with atleast 1 weight assessed
10 with one listed, but not assessed
Very positive numbers! Growing fast!

Was looking this morning and we now have 125 girls weight assessed in trackwrestling.
All of the ladies at Harrison County Wrestled tough. Ashley Courtney looks to be the front runner at 106lbs, she is tough. Janie Stephens will be hard to beat wherever she ends up. It was an exciting day to see all of the ladies compete. Thanks to all of the teams who brought their ladies.

Healthy competition I like it. Hopefully they meet up before the state tournament. Will the Messerly ladies wrestle at MS state or the girls state championship?

Good question. They have not decided. It's a shame they have to choose between events. Probably have 3 ms girls win H.S. titles. Walton and 2 Messerlys. If tournaments were not the same day.
You have to hope everyone sees the importance of the girls tournament for the future of girls in our state. It will be a history maker for all involved. Can't wait.
