I see lots of stories by skimming through results.
- Union and Jc send 14 to state.
-Jc completely dominated. Giampolo gets revenge for his MS finals loss.
- has a girl qualified for state? She has now. Ashley Courtney at 106
- in region 1 - Skuljan is ejected. Adams and Merritt have an awesome match!
What did you guys see?
On a side note JC put on a great regional.
Having matches all day on the big screen in the gym was pretty awesome. Having the kids pictures and names and weight classes put up on a huge screen along with their finals match not only in the center of the gym but also going on the big screen was pretty great. Everyone seemed to enjoy it.
Congrats and good luck to everyone that qualified for state. Should be a great weekend.

The last girl to qualify for state was Priscilla Brownfield from Campbell County in I want to say 2006
In region 2, three different teams had the lead in team points during the last 5 matches. The region title was decided in the last match of the day.
Region 7 looks like Madison Central did very well along with Lafayette and Boyle County if I'm not mistaken.
In region 2 jabin hite upsets Rickey Garcia for Larue county to make the lead closer.

Region 8 had some really great finals matches.
106 was decided on a reversal with 3 seconds left in the match
126 a takedown in the final seconds aswell.
132 went to the final ride out.
138 was a barn burner that went to the final seconds.
182 was a great match that went to OT.

Meade had opened up, IIRC, a 9- or 10-point lead in the consolation round at one point. But then LaRue's kids went bonkers in the wrestle-backs and they won all five finals they were in. That was fun to watch.
