The Christian County wrestling team competed in the Wildcat Duals held at Tuscaloosa County High School in Northport, AL. The Colonels finished 2-3 on the day to finish 6th overall. The Colonels with only 10 wrestlers to fill the 14 weight classes as a result of injuries and wrestlers quitting defeated Minor High School 39-36 and St. Clair County 51-30. The lost to the host Wildcats 39-31 and Prattville 69-12 finishing 3rd in their pool. The Colonels then wrestled for 5th place and fell to Hueytown 42-27. The Colonels now have a 9-10 dual season record. Wrestling well for the Colonels were Martez Price 5-0 at 285, wrestlers finishing 4-1 on the day included; Dee Leavell at 119, Dustin Thomas at 125, Cory Armstrong at 152 and Darryl Dobson at 215. Jake Skinner at 130 finished 3-2 on the day suffering his first two losses on the season. The Colonels next wrestle on January 4th in Colonel Gym versus Hopkinsville and Caldwell County.
