I will be shifting all my events to stay on same schedule with State. I think this would work best for most.

No. Regionals are Feb 14/15th next year
State is Feb 21/22

I get that but, we didn't really have many options this year because we lose a week in December and I didn't think anyone would be willing to wrestle on a Monday (December 23rd). Hopefully the calendar will be kinder in 2020 and allow us to go back to having it before Christmas.

It throws a wrench in things for those that travel to out of state tournaments. Doubt Tennessee, Ohio, or Indiana will be pushing their seasons back as well. What was the reasoning behind the season pushing back a week later?

Talked to Croydon coach yesterday, his tournament is moving back. Its usually first week of January same as mine, hes moving it to 2nd weekend same as me

TN season starts a few weeks earlier than ours anyways. I haven't looked to see if they are pushing a week later too. I will though.

We had 10 high school teams this past last year and next season it will include middle school teams as well those 10 teams will have first choice but some don't have middle school teams.. If you are interested in getting your teams in let me know so I can add you and get you paired up with a high school team without one or save you a spot. Cost is $175 per team or $300 for both.

We are hosting the 20th Annual Fandetti-Richardson Brawl at Science Hill High School in Johnson City, Tennessee on January 11, 2020. We use a modified 16-man bracket with a pool system that enables all wrestlers to get more matches in the 1-day format. We also provide a full JV tournament in our adjacent gym along with a Girl's tournament. As an option for all tournament teams we offer dual matches on Friday night to make the weekend a full 2 days of wrestling for all out of state teams.
Each year we pride ourselves on providing the best competition possible to our tournament teams, the 2019 Fandetti-Richardson Brawl medalist went on to earn 41 state medals and 8 state championships in their respective states.

Format:
● 16 man bracketed tournament
● 4 Mats & 5 Refs
● Tournament will run on trackwrestling with live scoring and bout board
● Extra wrestlers will be allowed in only to fill brackets to 16 and will not be seeded
● Hospitality Room for Coaches and Refs all day (Pulled Pork for lunch)
Seeding: (Tournament will be pre-seeded to 6 places based on criteria entered into trackwrestling. Seeding will be reviewed in coaches meeting)
