1/4/20

Anderson County starting new annual individual tournament. 

$175 Per Team

Format:

● 16 man bracketed tournament

● 4 Mats & 5 Refs

● Tournament will run on trackwrestling with live scoring and bout board

● Extra wrestlers will be allowed in only to fill brackets to 16 and will not be seeded

● Hospitality Room for Coaches and Refs all day (Pulled Pork for lunch)

 

Seeding: (Tournament will be pre-seeded to 6 places based on criteria entered into trackwrestling. Seeding will be reviewed in coaches meeting)

● 2019 State Tournament Placement

● Common Opponent (Current Season)

● Kentuckywrestling.com Ranking

● Current Season Record

● Other Summer and Current Season Tournament Placement

Spots are starting to fill up for the AC Bearcat Invitational on 1/4/20. Below is a list of confirmed teams .

Confirmed Teams for 2020 as of 5/6:

  • Anderson County
  • Decatur Central (Varsity 1st Team)-  Indianapolis, IN
  • Madison Central
  • Male
  • South Oldham
  • Spencer County
  • Woodford County  Gold
  • Woodford County  Black

Note: I have talked with a few other coaches but I've only listed the team names of solid commitments. If we have talked and you want to confirm,  please let me know.  

Also, The addition of Decatur Central means that any teams accepted will need to be within 300 miles of Indiana Boarder per IHSAA rules.
