What kind of format do you prefer? I wish my team would go to more dual format tournies. I think they are better for team cohesion, getting experience and getting accustom to wrestling many matches in a single day.

I prefer individual that way i get to take home the hardware for the day..(medals)

It would depend on your team.

For the most part duals allow you to get more grouted matches during the day.

However if it is a dual tourney then those teams with only 5-8 members would probably prefer the individual tourneys.

I would try and mix the two throughout the season.

IMO the pool individual tourney is the best.  It allows for at least three matches for each individual, and allows for more teams to attend in each wt. class without the 5 match rule messing things up.

It took me a little while to buy into it, but I think I agree that the pooled individual tounament is best.  It is the best of both worlds.  You get matches in, even for the less talented guys, and you get to see the best individuals rewarded (at one weight class, not bumped around).

I just can't seem to really wrestle to my fullest ability at individual tournies. At dual tournies i'm 8-1 and at individual tournies i'm somethin' like 2-4. Both of my wins bein' Bi's and forfiets. I was cheated out of one of those matches, but none the less I wrestled, let's say, less than satisfactory.
