This tournament would be open to any HS wrestlers whose season is finished. JV wrestlers, etc.
It's that time of year again! Diesel City Folkstyle Championship will take place on Sunday, February 9th 2020 in Columbus, IN at Columbus North High School. Columbus, IN is home to Cummins-maker of the Cummins Diesel Engine. If you went last year, you know what a great tournament it is. Last year 458 wrestlers from 5 states registered to battle for the Diesel City fight shorts. We will have all licensed officials, light show, Don Jones custom shirts and gear, TBD Sports Photography, Game On mouthguards, Footwork Trainer booth, great concessions and fantastic competition. New this year is the women's division! There will be a team points race for 1st or 2nd place trophies. Small team, medium team, large team, academy/all-star, and women's divisions. There are many great restaurants and breweries in Columbus featuring: BBQ, Japanese, Chinese, Tai, Asian Fusion, Indian, Italian, Sports Bar Fare, Pizza, and more. Downtown is also the Commons which has a huge indoor playground where kids can have fun at no cost. Across the street is Zaharakos ice cream parlor, which is over 100 years old!
Last year registration ended early to ensure a well run tournament so be sure to get yours in early!
