Hawks sweep at Central Hardin Duals

The LaRue County Hawks wrestling team took a big step towards repeating as the Kentucky State Duals champions Dec. 23. 

The Hawks swept all four of their matches at the Central Hardin Duals Tournament. The currently second ranked Hawk team looked impressive with wins over the fourth ranked Trinity (Louisville) and the fifth ranked Union County teams.

The first match of the day for the Hawks saw the team defeat Louisville Moore by a score of 72-6. Leading the team were junior Corbin Masure (119 pounds), freshman Christian Rojas (125 pounds), and senior Eric Hupp (135 pounds) with pinfall victories.
