Attempting to get more perspective on female wrestling. If a girl is top 5-10 in the country would they likely be in contention to place at the Kentucky State tournament, qualify for State, be varsity, etc.? I realize every situation is different, but on average (I know weight plays a factor, too). Has Kentucky ever had a National champion? I realize that the future of wrestling will likely rely on the popularity of female wrestling, so I’m trying to embrace it more.
