Thomas Hoppes has wrestled every match at 132.... except 1. Last Saturday could have been #1 vs #3 Eli Peyton of Paducah. 

152- Head pinned Baumgardner. Dalton Smith-220 , should be ranked third. I appreciate the hard work, I know it’s a ton to keep up with! Thank you!

No one in the gym wanted that match more than Hoppes.  He got bumped up to give the team the best chance of winning the dual.

Semi state for region 1 and 2 at 138 is going to be a BANGER!!! Any one of the 8 qualifiers could be on the podium any other year. It’s a bummer SIX of them will be left home.

It’s what the KHSAA wants to do, take away an opportunity from 40+ top ten wrestlers the shot at top 8.

And yet no changes to the format to a 16 man bracket to have the best at State with no chance of a true 2nd in semi state. 

At 145 JT King has a win over Quintana. His only loss is to Stargill.

Not sure about the whole state but we went to 40% attendence as of Friday for all indoor events. With that being said if we could just take the top 3 in each semi state tourney and make the finals a 12 man bracket. That would still solve the over night as it can be finished in one day and the problem of who is better to take 2 or 3 take them both. Each winner of Semi gets seeded and a bye. Then seed the remainder of the kids and wrestle to top 8 problem solved. Wont happen but should.

Also as for rankings our 113 Chance Carmon/Daviess is out for year. Jaxon Winkler at 220 will be our 197 and last I was told the Owensboro kid at that weight Austin Gough is no longer wrestling. Just to help with kids in and out. 

Lots of updates to be made here. Herron has dropped. Boone is in at 220.

Correct! JT is having an amazing year! As I also pointed out. Austin Head 152, is under ranked and 220 should be Silva #1, Palmer #2 and Dalton Smith #3.
