Region 1 rankings 3/3/21

Kolby Koepp has already beat Ethan Futrell this season (16-12) during their dual against Calloway County |
Rumor has it that Hank James and David Conner are done for the season. Can anyone confirm or deny?
I really hope the KHSAA doesn’t just take top 2 in each weight to state. Some of those weights are pretty strong.
If current region rankings held and KHSAA takes top two per weight class per region
Union 8
PT 7
Christian 6
Caldwell 5
Calloway 1
McCracken 1
Henderson, Hopkinsville, Ohio, and Trigg would not have a participant.
There would be state placers sitting at home in R1 undoubtedly
I'm hearing rumors of a couple kids out for the season, quitting and some dropping weight. I won't move them until I see it on track or hear it from a coach. I started to put records in but so many matches aren't entered on track. I'll post records after this weekend. Guessing coaches will get track updated for regional seeding.

Is Koepp or Conner coming back?

That's because unlike some of the coaches in the region. I update our records every week. Why hide, it will all come out in the end. js.

Never really understood the "hide my teams stats" theory. How many times does actually looking at a stat help a kid get a win? The only people it helps are the fans who are interested in the sport. I would even go out on a limb and say scouting a wrestler usually does not help, unless the kid is a one move wonder. It's what makes wrestling great, there are so many different techniques out there that you can't defend them all. (leg wrestlers, crab ride, throws, funk, loose riding, tight waist riding, ........ etc. etc)Wrestle your type of match to the best of your ability and you won't have to worry about the others technique. He’s also lost the last time to Cannon, so it muddies the water a little. Plus when I last updated, I thought Ricketts had a pin over Cannon, but I had him mixed up with someone else.

it's simple. IT IS IN THE RULEBOOK. No accountability for it NOT being put in until this sunday. Absolutely ridiculous we do not have any accountability for it.

Ranking are as of right now chief. The A beat B. B beat A but lost to c. C beat this guy theory. Not looking at seeding criteria. Baker is simply making an opinion and he's been VERY spot on. He has contact with a number of people in region 1 who are in the "know". So he's very spot on with it.

You can still put it in track and keep it hidden from the public, just don't commit it. Therefore you have met the rule requirement and still hide the results.

Dont think you can.... you have to commit it to "save it"
