State record for most placers is 13. Will Trinity or Johnson Central tie or beat that this year? 

South Oldham 2003 had 13 of 14 placers.

That is correct. Very, very, very good team. 2 Champs. 9 guys placed in the top 4, 11 in the top 6, 13 overall placers.

Yeah that South Oldham team was just different. Very very well coaches bunch of kids that wrestled hard. Not even close to the most talented team, but they got it done in the Dungeon. 

Thought it was 12 of 14. That’s just unreal.

That was before Scherer would become the Incredible Hulk so really no over the top hammers. But Coach Fiser had those boys trained and ready to roll that year. Felt like he had a remote control in the corner and those kids did everything he yelled precisely.
