i kno he lost to the kid from rietz and i heard he lost to south oldhams hvy but it might just be a rumor not sure
He was in the consolation finals at the Conner Invite. I think he did lose to a kid from S. Oldham there.

im not taking nothing away from the guy that pinned him but im thinking that it was a slip
When I talked to Young about him staying at heavy he said it was from Byrd. Do anyone think he went down to 215 as a result of his last loss to Byrd or does he just drop for dual meets? Just wondering if he was there perminantly.
Young also lost to Burdin by a pin. Maybe it was a combination of the two losses. Giving up that much wt. may be to much and he can do just as well at 215.
Nope Im still at heavyweight just wrestling a couple of matches at 215 to get my speed back up.

Yes, Byrd got caught but what else do heavyweights do they get caught when they get tired and this is what happened. Byrd was winning the match and Mastervich just saw something and went with it Byrd tried to roll him through but couldn't. The ref waited a while to call but he had too and Byrd got pinned.
Ah yes, and the ole heavyweight rule holds true once again, "First one to his back loses." With heavyweights, there is NO room for mistakes. I do have the feeling that Byrd won't make a mistake again when wrestling this good wrestler.
