This is typically a post/converstation we have before Region. We all know participation was down this year due to COVID-19. I'm interested to see who all fielded full teams for the Regional Tournaments this year. I'd also be interested to see the participation numbers from this year compared to last year.

Not as bad of a drop off as I would have thought. If Fort Campbell/Moore/Fort Knox would have been able to compete we would probably been close to 900 competitors.
I believe there are 5 categories of wrestling teams.
1 Full Team (12-14 wrestlers)
2 Complete/solid team (9-11 wrestlers)
3 Half team (6-8 wrestlers)
4. Struggling Team (4-5 wrestlers)
5. Critical Team (3 and below)
Using this formula this is the breakdown.

1.FT 25 (23%) 43 (44%)

This tells me that this year 46% of the teams were firmly grounded and 32% of the teams were really struggling
Compared to last year when 71% of the teams were firmly grounded and 15% of the teams were really struggling.
