Many have heard that coach Jim Matney of Johnson Central is in the hospital and needing prayers. This is the original post I saw this weekend, followed by some updates. We all wish the best for coach and for a full recovery. Prayers going out to him,his family, and the Johnson Central community.

Yeah I've known Jim from way back in his Sheldon Clark days, and I have never known him to follow anyone let alone a command. LOL. 

Stay strong Jim, I want to see you on the opposite side of the mat again.

Its with heavy heart I pass along the news that Coach Jim Matney has passed away. He touched so many lives in a positive way, including mine. Please pray for his family and for all affected by the loss of a great man. Rest easy, coach.

Funeral arrangements for Coach Matney
