Frederick Douglass HS is pleased to announce we will be hosting the 2021 Bronco Battle for the Bluegrass Pre-season Middle School Duals on Saturday October 23, 2021 in the heart of Lexington at Douglass in our main gym AKA "The Farm!"
Don't miss this great opportunity to get your kids some early mat time in what will be a very competitive tournament with some of the best MS teams in KY already committed. With the challenges the MS teams faced last year, with limited in-state tournaments, this is a can't miss event and easily accessible for everyone. Space is limited.

ENTRY TEAM FEES: $300.00
WEIGH-INS: 7:30 AM – 8:30AM (Doors open at 7:00AM)
COACHES MEETING: 9:00 AM
WRESTLING STARTS: Immediately at the conclusion of the coaches meeting.
WEIGHT CLASSES: 70–75–80–86–92–98–105–113–121–130–140–152–168–190–240
Extra’s may be placed on other teams to fill empty weights.
FORMAT: 12 Team Dual Tournament ran on 3 mats. Teams will be pooled in groups of 4 then, placed in 4 team brackets for the placement rounds. 5 Guaranteed Duals
