Wanted to get a set of rankings out for the girls. We had 10 coaches from around the state help look over these and try to get them as good as we can. That being said, we used placement from last years state tournament, removed the seniors, added some with winning records last year, and adjusted for some weights where we have seen girls doing summer wrestling. If you have any info to help, feel free to let us know.

Of the 6 girls who competed at preseason nationals, Kentucky had 4 placers/all americans

Lauren Walton (Woodford Co) - CHAMP @132

Addison Messerly (Grant Co) 3rd @132

Olivia Messerly (Grant Co) - 2nd @138

Kendra Johnston (Paducah Tilghman) - 3rd @180

Overall, it was a great showing on the national stage!

Looks like if the Board of Controls passes it, Girls will be sanctioned in 23/24.
