This past weekend we had 3 teams from Kentucky wrestling at Virgina Beach Duals.

CKWA 4-2

Team Kentucky White 3-3

Team Kentucky Blue 0-6

Great job to all the teams and coaches who helped make this happen. You represented your state very well. This was done on and off the mat. Great group of coaches for these young men to look up to and build the sport of wrestling in the state. I look forward to watching it grow and flourish in the state of Kentucky.

Unfortunately the blue team did not fill every weight class and had to take 4 forfeits in every dual…. Great experience nonetheless! 

Kentucky white was the only team in the winners bracket after day one. Tough pool on day 2 for that team.
