Does anyone know how State Duals trunned out?

1- LaRue

2- Dunbar

3- North Hardin (I think they were 3rd maybe 4th can't remember who one NH/Seneca

4- Seneca

5- Trinity

6- Woodford

wut happened to woodford? why did they place so low?

Woodford was in the same pool with LaRue, Wayne and Harriosn, if you lost in your poll (which they did to LaRue) then I think the best you can place is maybe fifth. Although all of the pools were tough, that was perhaps the toughest pool of all. Woodford went on to beat South Oldham and then lost to Trinity in the fifth place match.

So Woodford and Wayne wrestled each other?

What was the Daniels, Parks match like?

Parks controlled the entire match winning by about 5 I think.

I was very impressed with Coty Lewis when he wrestled, dominated and easily pinned Carmen Lucas from Larue. I was very unimpressed by his defeat to the Trinity boy. It is clear to me the only person who can beat Coty Lewis is Coty Lewis. A repeat state title, in my opinion, is entirely up to Coty. He is a physically superior athlete. Mental toughness seems to fluctuate. If he shows up for the state tourney, both Coty Lewis and Woodford County will be state champs. If not, Woodford, as a team, will place 3rd at best.

Voth is a great kid and certainly a favorite for 125, but I do believe it is Coty's to win or lose. 

Congrats to Larue on their Dual trophy. I don't believe they are the favorite for the state tourney title. Woodfood is still the likely favorite. Larue has a great dual team and a few real studs but I don't see them placing as many wreslters in the finals. It should be an interesting state meet!

IMO tyler voth will OUT WORK and OUT LAST coty lewis... tyler voth is going to win it this yr at 125( coty will be lucky to make it to the finals!)

Shane Parks killed Bryan Daniels cutting him 4 times and still winning by 6

woodford should have beat larue... a few FLUKES happened... sheehan shouldnt have gotten pinned by banks( im not saying he should have won but i dont think he will get pinned again)... cecil got stuck... embre ran from byrd... and even though butler dominated he could have pinned.

You two are both right about Coty Lewis, he's the only person who can beat him.  Right now Voth will weather the early storm and then pin Coty when he dies in the third period.

With regards to the rest of the team they need to get tougher mentally, their horses can make up for the holes in the lineup.  I still look for them to win at state.

That's what almost everyone says every year...and then what happens? They have at least 6 wrestlers place at State.

Coty Lewis is probably one of the most incredible wrestlers I have ever watched, or worked with. His game on his feet is ridiculous, but his stamina is something to be desired. I do believe by the time State rolls around, he will be a 2x State Champ. If the cards fall right, Woodford will have 5 individual State Champs and thier 14th team State Championship.

i cant wait until voth wrestles lewis at regionals and all of you feel dumb. voth will never be in trouble of losing and will be ahead going into the third when he will take over because he has outworked coty all year

pldwrestler, how can someone feel dumb when all we have done is state our opinion? It is not like I bet my house on it or anything, I just think Coty has the ability to raise his wrestling to a level that will be hard for anyone to match. I think both of the Voths are excellent wrestlers and if they win it will be because they earned it.

Voth will manhandle ALL of his opponents this year. I think his closest match is something around 9 points? 10?

Lewis will be lucky to get top 5 if he dont step up his game.........He should never have lost to the Trinity kid. Voth and Lewis will be interesting because form what i saw Voth is not very good on his feet and thats where LEwis is the most dangerous. Conditioning will be a factor tho, and if Lewis wrestles like he did saturday i think hes gonna have a rough state tourny.

Voth is a very good wrestling, and he is decent on his feelt. he's got a good stance and i think it won't be easy for lewis to take him down, most of lewis's takedowns are because of the huge strength advantage he has over his opponents, and voth is very strong too, so he can stick it with coty, although i do think coty's neutral is better than voths. i think that match is just going to come down to who goes to wrestle and who wants it more, it's going to be pure guts.
