U know, their are all kinds of adult leagues in sport now, u got semi pro football, b-ball, and so on....even church league b-ball and softball.....wonder why nobody has ever thought of makeing a wrestling league...i know a lot of dads or former high school wrestlers who would love to be able to wrestle again....any thoughts on this?

there already is its called RPW (Real Pro Wrestling) and it airs on PAX and FSN during its season (not ours) but people like mike mena, rulon gardener etc...participate in it i thought it was really entertaining personally but yes there should be a bigger league that last longer and comes on more.

I think he is talking about local "for fun" leagues.  Like old guys playing softball.  I think the problem would be getting a facility and enough interest given the likely cost.  On top of that all of the likely injuries and aches and pains.  But I like the idea.  I'd be at the front of the line to sign up.

ya i can akready see my dad after practice falling asleep in his bed and i say its time for dinner and he cant move....this could be payback for all the times hes called me a sissy when im sore..lol...good idea

Lets get all of those guys together this summer at the Bluegrass State Games and get a league going.  I would love to participate in something like that.  I joke around with our guys all the time saying that we should have coaches tournaments at some of the high school tournaments.  :-)

You guys are Nuts!!!!! Leave the old guys out of this. I get sore enough rolling around in practice. If you guys start an old guy league, you know that it will temp us, and of course WE WILL!!! and then pay the consequences for our actions.

3. Practice will be difficult to conduct in a body cast.

I like the idea. I never wrestled in HS--face it, I chickened out (not many girls wrestled then). I want some place I can wrestle without having to be comared to a HS kid. No ill will, but I am not in the mood to be laughed at by every Hardin Co wrestler around.

That being said--I wish I had half the ability of the Hardin Co wrestlers. I can't wait for region--should be interesting.

I would be an old gal, and my old man was 40 the first time he hit a mat. Boy did he hit it hard! That was a fun event to watch :-D
