sullivan is back at 103 lookin good does anyone think he will make it back to the finals.

Who's going to beat him..?

I dont think anyone is i was just wondering what other peoples opinions were

Sullivan will one of the top kids at 103 this year. Who will be in the finals with him.

Carr is tough, but he could be on the short end of the draw and on the same side of the bracket (Qtr's or semi's).

I would really like someone to take him to the third period so we can se what he's got. It seems he is a thrower and everybody likes to tie up. I dont see him getting beat if everyone continues to lock up with him

For what it's worth Josh Johnson lost 4-0 to Travis at the Oldham takedown tournament @112.

But I don't see many 3's giving him much problem.

If Travis was smart he'd wrestle 12 against Caleb Wood and get some work, but he won't want to chance an undefeated season

I heard Wayne Co. has a tour. on DEC.3rd? Does anyone know for sure?

Ryle

St. X

Fern Creek

McCeary Co.

Whitley Co.

Letcher Central.

These teams said they were going.

Travis, give it a go with Caleb Wood, show everone how good you are

What is Fern creeks lineup?

Caleb will have it to do just to beat Vinsant, waynes 112,He is close to Sullivans equal. He only weights 107 .He just cant beat Travis,or he would be at 103.

I think Sullivan is over rated. But thats my personal opinion I've seen the kid wrestling to where he has gottin' to nervous of losing to the point were he started stallin'. I think that he can be beat and that he is not "Untouchable."

I agree I think vinsant is just as good I would like to see travis and vinsant wrestle. Do they have wrestle offs at wayne or is it a coachs discretion decision

i think sullivan is a great 103,hes definently not overrated but hes beatable,if he had more competition he wouldnt walk through state easy.

Staying at 103 will get him some easy state titles, but hey... a state championship is a state championship any way you look at it.

I talked to Sullivan at state, just for a little bit, and he is a great overall person and a darn good wrestler. 103 will be a breeze like it was last year for him, i think he just bump up to 112 and get some competition in and then drop to 103 at state.

Caleb is going to wrestle 119, soo..

His body fat test said he could only go to 108 last year. Everyone knows he has goten alot bigger. I'm sure he isn't allowed to go to 112.

sullivan is a team person. he cares more about the team than his record.

Travis is a first class kid and no one is questioning that.

I would like to see him wrestle better quailty wrestlers, it will also help him in the long run.

Wood should bump up and wrestle Bains,Kilburn,Bryant, and Ryles higher weight. It would make him better also. :D

Just to clear everything up, Caleb is wrestling 12, I talked with him at about every cross country meet and he says hes going to 12,also his teamates tell me he made weight for his body fat test and is manageing weight pretty good. Thats just what his teamates have told me. I personally think hell wrestle at 19 for his team matches and 12 at big tournaments.

Sullivan is a stud. Some question his throwing style, but if it gets you to 65-0 wrestling mostly out of state competition, then it must work. I am sure he can compete with the better 112s as well. Some guys are just good at what they do, and Travis is one of those guys.

He's wrestling 19, I'm on his team

So he didnt make 12 at the body fat test, or did he decide to wrestle 119 by choice??

Caleb chose to go 119 this year mainly because of weight matters, its definately not a "team" decision. Also wrestling at 119 will make him better, he could make 112 but wrestling at 119 with plenty of energy to fight will probably serve him better in the long run.

 The only reason wood is @ 119 is because he didn't do his body-fat test and had to wrestle the weight in which he was when he weigh-in @ there home duals.

What was this kid's record last year? Something like 60-0. And, Wayne wrestled out of state competition I believe from Tennessee, West Virginia and other states.

Come on, let's give an undefeated state champ his due. I'm not sure he wrestled a single 6 minute match last year, even against out of state competition. Give him his due and let's be a bit proud of him as he represents Kentucky.

Travis is a good wrestler, I'm not saying anything negative.

I would like to have seen Sullivan and Caleb Woods go at it, it would be a great match. Travis out classes all the 103s, he would have to go 112 to have any chance of wrestling 6 minutes.

I could say the same about Caleb, at 112, he has to go 119 or even 125 to have good matches. Yes, Caleb is at 119 and I don't see him cutting to 112.

They are both class acts.

Sullivan's was 65-0 going into state finals then he pined Carr which made 66-0  I think that is a very record for a freshman who wrestles out of state alot... The only time I know sullivan went 6 min was... Region finals- and at stat duals. LUNA-state duals SLONE-region finals

Caleb is not cutting to 112, he has no intentions to and he's happy at 119.

EXACTLY...the kid never wrestled six minuites, what happens when he wrestles at 112 where the kids WILL BE just as strong, I guarantee the kid that pushes him in the third period and puts his heart into those six minuites it WILL BE victorious.

Well, with Caleb going 19 this year, it doesn't leave much at the 112 pound weight class, other than last years 103's. I think it would of been great if Sullivan were able to match up against some of last years 'stand-outs' at 112. He was a monster at 3, but i don't think he would be as a 12 pounder with last years competition. However, most of them have grown into 19 pounders, so could Sullivan be preparing for another undefeated year (in Kentucky at least). I don't think any of the last years 3's that are going 12 this year can touch Sullivan, so it is very possible. I think it would be very entertaining to watch Wood and Sullivan square off in the state finals this year, although I think Wood would be the decisive victor..however, this is all just my opinion.
