i went to the granby camp last year and it's a great camp to work on your bottem work, as the name implies. it shows you the knee shrug, the high low, works on your sweep singles and double legs. and for top work it teaches you the turk and hammerlock.
that does sound like a good camp... i am looking for something new with great competition.. which i would believe would be the ohio state camp.. if you have went to it or you are going to it please pm me... also this is a thread to talk bout what some camps teach
yeah. well last year woodford went to the granby camp id say they'll go again this year. also you can wrestle with some of the instructors, they are college students and they will get in there and wrestle with you if you'd like. so it's good on competition too.
yeah.. i went to cumberland last year.. it was fun pretty good competition..i liked it alot i want a variety i will keep it in mind though thank you.
i personally like all of the IU camps...they always have a good turnout and the staff is really cool....it shows you what it takes to become a champion
i thought campbellsville was a good camp
Woodford has been attending Granby camp for over a decade, and you see what it does for them. Great camp, top-notch instructors, intense sessions. Everytime I went I came back a better wrestler. Cumberland is a great camp for the price. Run by NAIA national champ and he shows a nasty inside trip session. Woodford Co. hosts a very affordable and informative day camp (Mon-Fri, 9-4). If you want some one on one instruction from the greatest technician this state has ever known go there. Lots of choices, but don't go to some camp just because it sounds cool (OSU). Those large camps offer little to one on one time, which is essential to a good camp.
