Just want to get some insight on this 32 man bracket implemented a few years back. Is it paying off or still too early to determine?
Is the 32 man bracket paying dividends?

I personally like the 32 man bracket. It does lead to a few more easy matches for the good wrestlers in the early rounds but overall, I think it's beneficial to wrestling in Kentucky. Regardless of how good a kid may truly be, if they get to go to state, it will help keep their interest in wrestling. When some of these young or inexperienced wrestlers get to experience state, I think it will only lead to them working harder, both during the season and in the off-season. You will tend to keep more kids in wrestling that way instead of them quitting or losing them to other winter sports. More kids will lead to a larger talent pool and, in the long run, a larger talent pool, leads to better overall wrestling. That can only be beneficial to the sport in Kentucky. It definitely can't hurt.
