the refs need some type of standard or grading system before they are given the responcibility as big as a regional tournament.i am not just referring to 1 match every match a certain ref officiated was terrible!If there is atest that refs take then he must have had a cheat sheet :|

No, Todd Cole was excellent. Actually, the coaches all decided to ban the other 2 refs from all championship rounds and only allowed them to ref the consolation round. Neither one of the refs were allowed to ref alone. They both had to officiate with one another. Todd Cole officiated the entire championship round by himself and did an excellent job.

Sorry guys, I just watched his stalling calls against previous, and current opponents, you can be good, if you want to be good though, be good every time, not just when you feel like it.
When bowling, you get a strike, when you ref, you get it right!

I am only commenting on his performance today. There was no controversy and he was not the center of attention in this tournament. I realize he often times puts himself into the spot light, but not today. The other 2 refs were beyond pitiful.

I agree that ref needs to think about finding a new sport to ref, because obviously this one is too complex for him.
I will agree, today was a SMOOTH day, I will only say I have seen rougher roads with Todd, I do not want him to represent our Northern KY people, there are 3 more that are much more disciplined concerning their calls.
Todd did a good job. The coaches waited way to long to do something about the other refs,they changed the outcome of to many matches! So for next year how do you stop this from happening? and for anyone that was not there, these two were that bad! :xhe did do a great job
The coaches have no control of who officiates the tournament. The state assigns the officials.
I also know that they cannot decide what matches an official officiates. They can request and that must have been what they did.
As for Todd Cole, you know what your gonna get with him. A quick stall call, and a freestyle pin, with some flamboyance in the mix. However you see it he is consistant.
