There were alot of great matches in the finals between them on of the best i think was the Pat Banks and Harrison Courtney match which courtney won by one, even though i was hopin for a diff outcome of that match

Parks was beating Eck that is when Parks got injured the win was injury default.

yea magic, parks had already easily taken down eck and let him go and when he took him down again he hurt his shoulder when he landed on eck's hip....injury default....also what about will starks beating jones from north hardin 13-5...congrats will! jones also beat rupp earlier that day!

Winning by an injury default in not beating an opponent. That is just getting the "W", not defeating the wrestler.

Holmes wrestlers always seems to start slow and peak for regionals and state. The NKAC meet is this weekend. It seems that Holmes always does poorly at NKAC.

Very good point. If you do good at the state tournament, no one remembers if you struggled early.

From what I have heard from the kids at Holmes they are having a rough time of it this year. No-one seems to be taking it very seriously. They tell me many of the wrestlers on the team are missing practice, Golsby missed over a week of practice and doesn't push himself in practice. I've been told the coach may not return next year, because of these reasons.

Anyone know if there is any truth in this?

Rumor has it Byrd is possibly out for the year (something about having to rebreak his arm??) Lewis quit, as did his little brother, and Parks is not going to be at 100% b/c of his shoulder!!! Any truth to this?? If so, tough luck to the Woodford fans and wrestlers, they would have possibly beaten Larue with those guys back in the line-up.

No. Parks will be back next week(don't know about 100%), Byrd is looking at about two more weeks and Lewis is wrestling and humor has it, has a big surprise when he gets back. :?: Looking like another week for Lewis. This is all fact.
